A beautiful lawn like on the best court or golf course is every gardener’s dream. It is a garden showcase and an important background for
planted plants , making the whole look even better. Original self-compacting lawn. Unfortunately, losses that occur are a big problem in lawn care.

The solution to this problem has been available to the horticultural market for several years: self-compacting grass! How is it different from normal grass? What are the most important advantages of self-compacting grass and why choose it for your garden?
Self-compacting grass is a new category of deep green grass, very resistant and strong with self-renewing rhizomes. The original self-thickening grass seeds were introduced to the market in 2019 and immediately became a bestseller.
Self-compacting grass is a seed mixture that, in addition to the best grass varieties (perennial ryegrass, red fescue, meadow grass), also contains the innovative RPR grass (regenerating perennial ryegrass), i.e. self-regenerating perennial ryegrass – a new subspecies of the well-known English ryegrass. For years, it has been planted on golf courses and the largest soccer fields in the world! Now it is available for garden owners, because home grasslands should also be beautiful and strong!
What do grass seeds look like?
High quality seeds
Self-compacting grass is a perfectly composed grass mixture, which is distinguished by high resistance to unfavorable climatic conditions and fungal diseases. It consists of a specially selected composition of seed varieties of meadow grass, red running fescue, perennial ryegrass and innovative ryegrass.

How is self-compacting grass different from others?
Self-compacting grass is characterized by faster germination, which can be observed already 7 days after sowing, while normal grass needs about 14 days. Furthermore, germination can take place at temperatures up to 4 degrees lower, and young plants are much more resistant.
Thanks to this, sowing of self-compacting grass can begin earlier than when using standard species. This will allow you to enjoy a beautiful, dense lawn faster, and you can start renewing and shaping a lawn even in unfavorable conditions. The best times for this are spring and early autumn, so that the substrate is moist.
Regular grass is a collection of individual, separate tufts. Self-compacting grass creates a dense network of connected bushes, which are constantly developing. In this way the self-compaction process occurs. As a result, the grass quickly covers free areas and gaps!
How does self-compacting grass grow?
With standard types of grass, one seed produces a clump of grass. It grows upward and may thicken a little over time, but the perimeter of the clump will not increase. Meanwhile, the self-thickening grass root system is producing lateral rhizomes, from which subsequent groups grow. It is important to note that this process never ends, so the grass becomes thicker, filling any space well without much intervention from the gardener. Of course, the lawn still needs to be properly cared for, mowed, used fertilizers and watered if necessary.
10 benefits of self-compacting grass
Fast germination
The great advantage of self-compacting grass is its rapid germination, which occurs up to 2 times faster than with standard grass.
Greater resistance to adverse factors
Self-compacting grass creates a strong grass that can better withstand short mowing, is resilient, and stands up well to adverse weather conditions.
Strong root system
A strong, well-developed root system means that the grass can withstand heavy use and regenerate quickly.
Amazing density
Spotted grass spreads in all directions, thanks to which new clumps constantly grow and the grass becomes thicker and denser.
Quick and long-lasting effect.
Compactor grass is characterized by rapid growth and continuous growth, which means that the effects of its sowing will be visible quickly.
Less weed problems
Dense grass effectively prevents weeds from growing because it leaves no room for them. This means fewer beauty treatments.
The ability to regenerate
Intensive turf use does not harm the grass, and even encourages it to grow! Damaged runners stimulate faster and more intensive growth.

Why is it not worth saving on seeds?
Purchasing cheap seeds of dubious quality can result in your lawn not being filled with dense, beautiful grass, but rather filled with unsightly voids. This, in turn, leads to the need for further renovations, and even starting the lawn from scratch, and therefore the need to incur additional costs.
