Description of tomato De Barao

The classic De Barao tomato is an indeterminate variety, that is, tall and with unlimited growth. It can reach a height of 2.5 m and even more, so it needs a garter, timely removal of stepsons and proper formation of bushes – only in this case will it produce a full harvest.

De Barao's are smooth, ovoid, weighing 30 g. The color is red. The taste is excellent. The yield also did not disappoint – 5 – 6 kg per 1 sq. m. This variety is good because can be eaten fresh and also used for preservation.

The variety is late-ripening, ripens in 115–120 days. It can be grown both in greenhouses and in open ground.

Its fruits are purple-brown in color and slightly larger – 58 g. The taste is good. The yield is higher than that of the classic De Barao – up to 8 kg per 1 sq. m. It is also weakly affected by late blight.
